W.I.S.E. Partnership
Detroit, MI
W.I.S.E. Partnership is a Detroit-based social enterprise developing the WISE Central Hub — a community-centered campus transforming vacant land into spaces for urban agriculture, youth entrepreneurship, workforce development, arts, and wellness.
In parts of Detroit’s 48206 community, over 25% of residents live below the poverty line, with limited access to fresh food, safe gathering spaces, and youth opportunity.
W.I.S.E. Partnership is transforming 1.6+ acres of vacant land into a sustainable campus for urban agriculture, entrepreneurship, arts, and wellness — and we are actively seeking partners in site design, irrigation systems, small business mentorship, and volunteer engagement to help build this community-led model.
“We (I) was and still am very focused on the development of land, and really not intentional about income and sustainability. The cohort helped me refine how W.I.S.E. can generate revenue, create opportunity, and still remain committed to the center of our work.”
